UAE Competes with Largest Delegation in History of Youth Muay Thai World Championships

Abu Dhabi – September 12, 2025: The capital city of Abu Dhabi today witnessed the opening of the Youth Muay Thai World Championships, featuring more than 1,200 athletes representing nearly 100 countries from across the continents. The UAE is making history with its largest-ever delegation at the Youth Muay Thai World Championships, consisting of 178 members.
The delegation includes 122 male and female athletes across various categories and weight classes, including the national Para Muay Thai team, in addition to 21 referees and 23 coaches overseeing technical and physical preparations. Also accompanying the team are 12 administrators supporting the Para Muay Thai athletes, highlighting the inclusivity of the event and its role in promoting values of integration and diversity.
This historic presence reflects the commitment of the UAE Muay Thai and Kickboxing Federation, led by H.E. Abdullah Saeed Al Neyadi, to implementing the nation’s vision of empowering youth, advancing the sports system, and nurturing a promising generation capable of competing on the world stage. It aligns with the wise leadership’s ongoing support for sports and the UAE’s international presence.
