About us

The UAE Muay Thai & Kickboxing Federation, established in May 2017, is the official patron of the Muay Thai & Kickboxing sports in the UAE. The Federation plays a trailblazing role in consolidating the foundations of sport, contributing to a highly aware and culturally rich society, while raising the UAE flag at local and international events.

Since its founding, the Federation has worked to embody the vision of our wise leadership by supporting athletes, developing national talent, and promoting sport as a lifestyle.
We believe sport is a powerful tool to spread noble values and foster a culture of respectful competition.
Today, we take pride in the success and advancement of Muay Thai and Kickboxing in the UAE, made possible by the relentless efforts of our clubs, coaches, and athletes. We look forward to building upon this momentum as we cement the UAE’s leadership in regional and global arenas.

MUAYTHAI

Also referred to as Thai boxing, opponents in Muaythai directly engage in fighting. The high popularity of Muaythai makes it definitely the sport of the age, characterized by the finishing skills, stand-up posture and mastering speed. Practising Muaythai requires high concentration and fitness, which in turn allows the practitioner to acquire more flexibility, stamina and self-confidence.

KICKBOXING

Kickboxing is a combat sport involving kicking and punching.
This sport focuses on coordinating punches and kicks while in a fight, tackling all parts of the opponent’s body.
Practicing kickboxing is known for raising self-confidence and physical fitness.
It also improves mental focus and stress relief.
